Fast Fixtures for a Medical Client
We recently made a set of fixtures for a medical device client who provided us with a plastic sample as a prototype. For his Stamping Progressive tool, we designed a quick clamping fixture to be used on a CNC machine. To enhance durability, we applied heat treatment to increase hardness. The client reported that the product was held very steadily during the process. When we create jigs and fixtures, we use a grinder to ensure flatness, achieving a surface grinding precision of 0.001mm. We also incorporate locating pins, which are made using slow wire cutting for precise pin holes.
