No Burr for 0.1mm Copper
We recently created a slow wire die for a chip lead frame client. The material was copper, with a thickness of just 0.1mm. For this Progressive Bending Die, we set the clearance to only 0.005mm per side. We applied a "one cut and three skims" method on the slow wire. The final punch had a mirror-like surface, and the edges of the product were exceptionally clean. We have a standard process for making progressive dies, including strip layout, machining, and assembly. Each step is handled by a dedicated person, ensuring our dies often work perfectly on the first try.
